Princess Runner

For the second time in a row (note I didn’t say day in a row), I decided to go out and go for a walk after I was finished with work. Both times, the second I finished work, I glanced out the window to see rain. Granted today was just a few sprinkles, but I have gotten so lazy that it was enough or me to back out.

I have only gone for one walk thus far with my new Nordic walking poles. They are a lot of fun and I really like walking with them. Prince E got a pair and he uses them when he walks to and from work on the days that he is not riding his bike.

So why am I so lazy? I guess it is just the winter, or not having anything specific to train for, and just the pure fact that I am a lazy girl at heart.

I did have a brief moment of excitement today when I received an e-mail survey from Bank of America who is the new name sponsor of the Chicago marathon. I really thought that now was my chance to tell someone all of my complaints about the marathon. The weird thing, though, is that it was a generic marathon survey. Meaning that it could have been in regard to any marathon, not specifically tailored to one which ran out of fluids and had to be canceled. It was bizarre. It was like they were pretending all of that didn’t happen. They did have two boxes at the end where I could put “other comments” and “suggestions” and believe me I did!
